These unique Gibson guitars, each hand-crafted by the world-renowned Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, include the Slash 1966 EDS-1275 Doubleneck, the Tony Iommi “Monkey” 1964 SG Special Replica, and the Adam Jones 1979 Les Paul Custom (Aged & Signed) Silverburst. Each guitar is the one-of-a-kind official artist-approved prototype, saved by Gibson, making it the most special guitar in these limited-edition runs.

THE TONY IOMMI ‘MONKEY’ SG REPLICA GUITAR PROTOTYPE

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi’s riffs on songs like “Paranoid” and “Iron Man” made him a founding father of metal. Iommi used a 1964 Gibson SG guitar on every Black Sabbath album and tour of the 70s. The guitar was heavily customized, featuring hand-made pickups and a memorable monkey sticker. In 2020, Gibson honored the iconic guitar with a limited-edition batch (50 total) of Tony Iommi 1964 ‘Monkey’ SG Replica guitars. Coming from the Gibson Archives is #IOMMI, a prototype sent to Iommi for approval before production began. This prototype instrument is initially offered at a valuation of $65,000, and you can own your piece of it for as little as $10 a share, only on Rally.
